How much will this cost me?

We charge a standard fee each leg of your trip plus mileage. You will find that our rates will be considerably higher than taxi rates as our drivers are paid by the hour and receive hours of specialized training to service people with debilitating injuries or disabilities. Are drivers trained to service people with disabilities?

Our drivers receive specialized training to service those with debilitating injuries, brain trauma, various disabilities and a host of medical conditions. We also train our drivers on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the needs and rights of our consumers to ensure a high level of service for our clients.

What kind of assistance do drivers provide?

Our drivers offer assistance to all clients. We stress the importance of providing door-to-door assistance. If you ride with Xpress you will be offered assistance from your residence to the vehicle and from the vehicle to or inside of the door of your destination.

Will drivers wait for me until I am ready to return home?

Our drivers will only wait for you if absolutely necessary. We typically ask you to call us when ready. We will then send a driver to pick you up. If wait time is requested we will charge $16 for each half hour of wait time.

Does Xpress take Medicaid/Medicare?

We do not bill Medicaid and Medicare for transportation services. Please contact your Medicaid/Medicare customer service line to find out how to schedule for transportation. If medically necessary, you may be able to request transportation and specify that your transportation provider be Xpress Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, Inc.
